AUTONOMOUS SYSTEMS UX

Reinventing wind turbine inspections for field operators with autonomous drone workflows (Acquired by SES Energy)

Improved operator task efficiency by 34%
BladeInsight drone inspection software interface
Wind turbine blade inspections are slow, error-prone, and physically demanding. Operators manually control drones in harsh outdoor conditions, resulting in inconsistent photo capture, repeated flights, and unreliable inspection data.
Wind turbine inspection problems

Led the design of a Surface tablet application to automate DJI M300 drone inspection surveys, enabling operators to perform consistent, repeatable inspections and seamlessly sync captured data with the BladeInsight web platform.
